Bernard Otieno is the Firm’s current Managing Partner. He is also the Team Leader, Adjudication, Transactional Services and Quality Assurance.
He is a vibrant litigator and holds extensive experience in contentious banking and commercial transactions, insurance and company litigation, industrial and labour relations, tortious and civil liability claims, enforcement of intellectual property rights, consumer rights law and public law litigation. He has had occasion to advance the interests of both corporate and individual clients in courts of law and other judicial tribunals with experience extending to more than fourteen (14) years.
He also undertakes creation and perfection of securities for secured lending, conveyancing and property transactions, due diligence, securities review as well as legal audit and legal risk management and advisory.
BO graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2005 and underwent article clerkship with Messrs. Raffman Dhanji Elms & Virdee Advocates between 2005 and 2006. He obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law in December 2006 and thereafter interned with the Legal & Investigations Departments of the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) between February 2007 and January 2008. He was admitted to the Roll of Advocate on 15th November 2007.
He is currently pursuing an LLM Degree in International Commercial Law from the University of London (International Programmes).

Caroline Cheptoo is in charge of Training and Corporate Relations.
Carol holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Moi University and a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law Management. She has undertaken a training consultancy on export guidelines for the Women’s’ chapter of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce.
In September 2019, she was retained by the the Association of Women in Energy Kenya (AWEIK), to review the Association’s Regulations and Memorandum of Understanding.

Collins Omondi holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Law and Economics, from Queen Mary, University of London (United Kingdom) with a Merit and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), from the University of Nairobi.
He is currently a Tutorial Fellow at the Department of Commercial Law, Moi University School of Law and has previously served as a Technical Advisor/Consultant, to Kenya Legal and Ethical Issues Network on HIV/AIDS (KELIN) and National Institutions Fellow, UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Geneva, Switzerland.

Andrew Mutiso is the Team Leader, Research and Legislative Drafting.
Andrew has worked with the Office of the Attorney General & Department of Justice in 2018 wherein he acquired unique experience in legislative drafting.
He thereafter worked with a legislative drafting Firm, Charis International Limited as a Legislative Draftsman and Legal Researcher.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Kenyatta University in 2016 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School od Law.

Mirelle is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She is attached to the firm as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution & Training Department.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from Riara University. She has completed extensive training in professional mediation and holds certification as a Professional Mediator. Her enthusiasm for legal research is evident, with a particular focus on Conveyancing and Corporate law. Beyond her legal pursuits, Mirelle is an avid art enthusiast and a skilled artist, showcasing a notable talent for comics and portraiture. Everline Otenda is the Firm’s Finance, Administration & HR Manager. She undertook accounting level KATC I and II at KCA University, Kisumu between 2007 and 2008 and is a Paralegal by training. She boasts of over twelve (15) years’ experience in Law Firm Administrative and Management.
She has also undertaken professional training in accounting & book-keeping (including use of digital accounting tools such as QuickBooks), planning, financial management and human resource management.
She is also experience in land and property transactions and possesses hands-on-experience in historical and official searches, verification of titles, pre-registration steps including LCB Consents, assessment and payment of rents, rates and taxes and registration of securities.
